Lighting & safety

Promenade and pier are well-lit until late evening. One of the safest evening walks in the area. Beach areas are unlit.

Extremely family-friendly. Shallow, warm water safe for young swimmers, long flat promenade for bikes and strollers, playground near the pier, ice cream and food nearby.
