Volunteer Program

Whether you have one Saturday a month or one hour a week, there's a place for you on the GSOS team. We'll train you, support you, and celebrate you.

Settlement buddy

Welcome a newcomer family — walk them through their first appointments, errands and neighbourhood basics.

~3 hrs / week

Homework club mentor

Help kids with reading, math and English after school. Patience matters more than expertise.

2 hrs / week

Food pantry team

Pack hampers, sort donations and welcome neighbours during distribution days.

1 shift / month

Events crew

Setup, registration, hospitality and clean-up at community events and cultural celebrations.
